Search stays in the browser
Site search matches your query against our published page index in your browser. It does not send queries to an external search service. A query can appear in the page URL; your hosting provider may record request URLs in standard server logs.
Checklists, worksheets and templates
Checklist progress and comparison worksheet entries are saved only in this browser when you use those tools. Each tool has a reset or clear control. These records have no automatic expiry; your browser may remove site data. Your chosen country is also stored locally until you reset it or clear site data. Anyone using the same browser profile may be able to see saved entries. Template edits stay in the open page until you copy or download them. Downloaded files are separate from site storage and are not deleted by the tools’ clear controls. No tool fetches rankings or changes your Business Profile.
Contribution drafts
The draft workspace sends no form submission. If you choose “Save on this device,” the fields are stored in this browser’s local storage. They remain until cleared by you or your browser. “Download draft” creates a file on your device. Do not enter sensitive client or personal information.
You can remove the stored draft using “Clear saved draft” on the draft page, or through your browser’s site-data controls.
Cookies and optional analytics
Google Analytics is optional. Your privacy choice is stored on this device for up to 180 days. On localseotop.com, Google Tag Manager loads Google Analytics only after you choose Accept analytics. Measurement covers visits and selected actions using public article and category identifiers. Our custom events exclude contact details, searches and draft contents; advertising consent stays off. Use to change your choice. Necessary only stops future custom events and attempts to remove accessible first-party analytics cookies. It does not reverse information already sent, and an already loaded Google tag may send a consent-status request.
Hosting and external links
Cloudflare Pages hosts this publication. Delivering and protecting pages involves normal request data, which can include your IP address, requested URL and browser or device information. Official source links lead to other organisations with their own policies. This site self-hosts its fonts and editorial images; it does not request remote fonts.
Cloudflare also injects a Web Analytics beacon into this site. It can load before you make a Google Analytics choice; the Cookie preferences control described above governs Google Analytics, not that separate Cloudflare measurement.
