What we publish
Practical guides, carefully scoped analysis and first-hand field notes about local search. We welcome ideas relevant to independent businesses in Canada and the USA. A successful contribution answers a concrete question rather than promoting an agency.
Evidence before a conclusion
Link primary documentation for platform rules. For research, explain the collection dates, sample, method, limitations and what you could not observe. Separate correlation from cause. Never promise rankings, traffic or citations by an AI system.
Field notes need a real field
A business story must be based on work you can document. Obtain permission to identify the business and use its material. Explain your role and any commercial relationship. Do not invent quotations, customer results, screenshots or a composite business presented as a real one.
Authorship and disclosure
Provide a short factual biography, relevant experience and affiliations. Disclose compensation, product access and conflicts. Describe material use of AI tools and verify every factual statement and citation yourself. An editor may request supporting evidence or decline a piece that cannot be checked.
Images and examples
Use material you own or can license. Label generated illustrations and hypothetical examples. Never present them as proof of a reported business or a measured result. Our launch photography consists of original generated illustrations.
Corrections and updates
When a factual error is confirmed, our policy is to correct the passage and add an update note where the change affects the meaning. Publication and review dates must describe actual editorial work. We do not change a date merely to make content appear newer.
Preparing a proposal
Include a working title, the reader’s question, an outline, available evidence and any affiliations. Our current draft workspace supports local saving and download only. It does not deliver material to the publication. Email your proposal to [email protected].
